Krista Kline

Krista was born and raised in Orlando, Florida, and has been dancing since the age of 4. Starting off in a pre-school ballet class, she soon became very serious about dancing and began classes at the Orlando Ballet school, where she acquired strong ballet technique and conditioning. She was able to participate in company performances, such as “The Nutcracker” and “Sleeping Beauty.” Wanting to branch out with other forms of dance, Krista then transitioned to the Elizabeth Parsons School of Dance upon entering middle school, where she received extensive training in Tap, Jazz, Modern, Acro, Lyrical, and Contemporary.

Krista also had theatre and singing training during this time. She began acting and singing classes at the age of 7, and later on performed in many productions put on by the Orlando Youth Theatre, including major roles in High School Musical, 42nd Street, CATS, and much more. In 2010, she was invited to attend the International Ballet Competition held in Jackson, Mississippi, where she took master classes and got to see many soon-to-be ballet superstars get to compete, such as Derek Dunn and Michaela DePrince.

Following the IBC, Krista attended the annual Florida Dance Masters convention in Orlando, where she got tocompete and train in many unique styles of dance. She later joined her studio’s performance company, bringing her to perform all over Orlando, including the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel and E.P.S.O.D.’s annual “Evening of Dance” hosted at the Lake Eola bandshell. After graduating high school in 2015, Krista joined the cast of the live performance show “DRIP” on International Drive. She left the cast the following year to pursue teaching dance.
