Kimberly Overbaugh

Dance Teacher (Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Creative Movement and Musical Theatre)

Kim started dancing at 3 years old and has continued to dance ever since. She has experience in Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, Hip Hop, and Musical Theatre. Growing up in New York, Kim studied dance at Anita’s Studio of Dance, where she started assisting in several classes such as Ballet, Jazz, and Musical Theatre.

When she moved to Sarasota in 2006, she began dancing at The Sarasota Players Theatre. There, she participated in the Dance Company of the studio, winning many awards at competitions. Kim has also become a seasoned performer, dancing at many local community events. After she graduated high school, she started teaching multiple classes right away, such as Hip Hop, Jazz, Tap, and Ballet. Kim fell in love with choreographing and teaching dance, developing a huge passion for watching children learn and grow in confidence. She also started a dance program at a local Daycare facility in 2010, combining her love for teaching early years with dancing.

Kim is currently studying for her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education at UCF. Kim is so thrilled to be a part of the Dance Station Orlando team!
